UTM:RPM is designed to complement UTM:Healthcare, which facilitates a connection to a patient’s health data and medical support team. Additionally, UTM:RPM seamlessly integrates with the UTM messaging app utilized by hospital case managers for receiving patient alerts. Patients discharged from the hospital with conditions such as CHF, COPD, Diabetes, or Pneumonia leverage the UTM:RPM application on their iPhone or iPad (iOS version 11+).

Each patient's iPhone is set up by a healthcare professional to establish a connection to the UTM:Healthcare server, enabling access to the patient's health metrics. Communication within UTM:RPM strictly adheres to HIPAA regulations. The application works in conjunction with the Health app to capture initial measurements of vital signs including Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturation, Pulse, Weight, and Blood Glucose. Customized parameters for acceptable measurement variances and thresholds are also configured for each individual patient.

Queries regarding the patient's well-being and data from Bluetooth/LTE enabled devices are presented in a comprehensive manner on the application interface for review.
